About Pastor Munter
 
The daughter of a Lutheran pastor, it now seem inevitable that she would someday become a pastor herself. Born in Ohio, she lived in Nebraska and Colorado before coming to Minnesota in 1992 and entering Luther Seminary in 1993. Her first call was to the Wisconsin Lutheran Parish in Black Earth, WI in 1998 where she served until 2002. After a short leave from call, she came to Bethel/Hemnes in August, 2003.
 
Pastor Munter adopted her daughter, Katherine, in 2008.

Isaiah 43:1-3a

But now thus says the Lord, he who created you, O Jacob,

he who formed you, O Israel:

Do not fear, for I have redeemed you;

I have called you by name, you are mine.

2When you pass through the waters, I will be with you;

and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you;

when you walk through fire you shall not be burned,

and the flame shall not consume you.

3For I am the Lord your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior. 

 

Romans 6:3-5

Do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death?4Therefore we have been buried with him by baptism into death, so that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, so we too might walk in newness of life.5For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we will certainly be united with him in a resurrection like his.
